This Spicer Life Joint has been known to have a tight fit on 7260 components. Weld yokes, flanges, trans yokes, etc. If trunions of ujoints will not clear ears of yoke, machining may be necessary successfully install. Do not machine the ujoint to make fit. If anything you can slightly grind the inside top of the ears of the yoke to make clearance for the trunions. Do not machine material that will effect the press fit of the ujoint cap.
