Part Story

Fits Infiniti shafts with a large 1.375 Bearing ID and 30 spline midship stub. They midships come with either an End Yoke with a C clip retainer or a companion flange with a nut. Both have staked joints, but both are technically replaceable.

To Remove the End Yoke style: First mark fazing of midship / Remove C-clip / Use rust penetrating oil and let seep into splines by sitting shaft vertically / Use press or alternate method to press end yoke off spilnes (be careful not to use hammer... ujoint caps may be forced out) / Press bearing off and replace with new / Re-install end yoke and front part of shaft / Re-install C-clip.

To Remove the Flange Style: First mark fazing of midship / Remove 4 bolts on flange / Remove nut after marking location / Use rust penetrating oil and let seep into splines by sitting shaft vertically / Use press or alternate method to press end yoke off splines (be careful not to use hammer... ujoint caps may be forced out) / Press bearing off and replace with new / Re-install companion flange / Re-install nut and front part of shaft.
